Aunt Bette’s quiet apartment is a perfect location for a writer’s stay, a private retreat, or winter walks in Roosevelt Park. Snuggle in the cosy queen bed with hot chocolate and popcorn, stay up late watching movies, and wake to coffee and a hot shower. The island restaurants are closed in the winter but the nearby grocery store makes pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches and baked goods, as well as plenty of frozen meals to heat in the microwave.

Welcome to Aunt Bette’s on Campobello Island, a private self-contained bedroom and bathroom addition built on the back of the house with its own patio and entrance. The suite is walking distance from the Deer Island Ferry and 10 minutes from Lubec, Maine. We offer discounts for overnight workers, people visiting for workshops or meetings, and nursing home visitors.
